HSK Test Prep Courses Level 1

  • Designed for learners who have very limited prior knowledge of Chinese language. Maybe they can use some very simple Chinese words and phrases to greet each other. They may never learned Chinese before.
  • We will learn from the most basic aspects, such as Pinyin, Greeting, Introducing Family Members, Discussing Hobbies, Expressing Date and Time, Inquiring about the Weather, and so on. Each class will have matching exercises. After learning to a certain extent, we will do mock and real test paper, focus on intensive practice, check leakage fill a vacancy, so that you can get high marks in one go.
  • After completion of this level, you will have learned about 150 high-frequency words and 45 grammar points. Candidates can understand and speak some daily words and sentences, and can conduct simple daily conversation but not very fluent.

I. Test Content

The HSK (Level 1) consists of 40 questions, which are divided into listening and reading sections.

The test lasts about 40 minutes (including 5 minutes for candidates to fill in their personal information).

1. Listening

Part I consists of five questions. Listen to each question twice. Each question is a phrase. A picture is provided on the test paper, and the candidates should judge right or wrong according to what they hear.
Part II consists of five questions. Listen to each question twice. Each question is a sentence. Three pictures are provided on the test paper. Candidates should choose the corresponding pictures according to what they hear.
Part III consists of five questions. Listen to each question twice. Each question is a dialogue. Several pictures are provided on the test paper. Candidates should choose the corresponding pictures according to what they hear.
Part IV consists of five questions. Listen to each question twice. In each question, one person says a sentence, and the second person asks a question based on this sentence and gives three options. Candidates should choose the answer according to what they hear.

2. Reading

Part I consists of five questions. Each question provides a picture and a word, and the candidates should judge whether it is consistent.
Part II consists of five questions. There are several pictures on the test paper. Each question provides a sentence. Candidates should select the corresponding pictures according to the sentence.
Part III consists of five questions. Provide 5 questions and 5 answers. Candidates should find out the corresponding relationship and match.
Part IV consists of five questions. Each question is provided with a sentence with a blank. Candidates should choose words from the options provided to fill in the blanks.

All the questions on the paper are in pinyin.

II. Score Report

HSK (Level 1) score report provides listening, reading and total score. A total score of 120 points is qualified.
