How it started
Founded by teachers, not just entrepreneurs
ChineseLearning.com was founded in 2013 by Duke Cheng and Ivy Wang, an experienced Chinese-as-a-foreign-language teacher who still teaches on the platform today. They built the school around one idea: pair learners with genuinely experienced teachers, and keep improving the material as students' needs change.
