HSK Test Prep Course

HSK knows as Hanyu shuiping Kaoshi or Chinese language Profiency Test is an international standardized exam taken by non-native speakers(including foreign students, overseas Chinese people and members of ethnic minority groups in China). The new HSK is an international standardized exam that tests and rates Chinese language proficiency. It assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives. The test is administered by Hanban. The HSK tests consist of a written exam and an oral exam, which are taken separately. The test is comprised of three sections: Reading, Writing and Listening. Each section is worth 100 points. There is no writing section for HSK levels 1 and 2, therefore those have a maximum of 200 points.

HSK Test Prep Lessons Level 1

  • Designed for learners who have very limited prior knowledge of Chinese language. Maybe they can use some simple Chinese characters and sentences to communicate. In HSK 1 all characters are provided along with Pinyin. Learners are required to recognize up to 150 Chinese characters.

HSK Test Prep Lessons Level 2

  • Designed for learners who can conduct tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. In HSK 2 all characters are provided along with Pinyin. Learners are required to recognize up to 300 Chinese characters.
  • A total score of over 120/200 is required to pass either HSK 1 or 2.

HSK Test Prep Lessons Level 3

  • Designed for learners who can use Chinese to serve the demands of your personal lives, studies and work, and you are capable of completing most of the communicative tasks you experience when travelling in China. Learners are required to recognize up to 600 Chinese characters.

HSK Test Prep Lessons Level 4

  • Designed for learners who can discuss a relatively wide range of topics in Chinese and are capable of communicating fluently with native Chinese speakers. Learners are required to recognize up to 1200 Chinese characters.

HSK Test Prep Lessons Level 5

  • Designed for learners who can read Chinese newspaper and magazines, watch Chinese films and are capable of writing and delivering lengthy speeches in Chinese. Learners are required to recognize up to 2500 Chinese characters.

HSK Test Prep Lessons Level 6

  • Designed for learners who can easily understand any information delivered in Chinese and can effectively express yourselves in Chinese, both in written and oral form. Learners are required to recognize up to 5000 Chinese characters.

HSK 3-6 include a writing section. A total score of 180/300 and above is required to pass HSK 3, 4, 5, 6.
