In the first part, we will focus on two well-known idioms: "喜结连理" (xǐ jié lián lǐ) and "百年好合" (bǎi nián hǎo hé).

喜结连理 (xǐ jié lián lǐ)

The idiom "喜结连理" is used to describe a harmonious relationship between husband and wife, full of deep affection for each other, tightly connected like intertwined vines. When expressing love 爱(ài), we can use this idiom to describe two people who love each other deeply, support each other, and face life together.
Example:
Their love is like a pair of tightly intertwined lovers, weathering all storms, always dependent on each other, never separating.

百年好合 (bǎi nián hǎo hé)

"百年好合" is a beautiful wish, hoping that the love between two people can last long, happy, and stable 稳定 (wěn dìng), just like a blissful marriage enduring for a hundred years. This idiom expresses the blessing for a long and happy love, a marital state that many people dream of. For Example: Their love is destined to be 百年好合, supporting each other, and experiencing every stage of life together.

    这张桌子很稳定。
